Yeast Challenge Test
The absolute removal of yeast using Roki filter cartridges

We have sponsored a study that determines the removal efficiency of our Roki filter cartridges for Saccharomyces Cerevisiae var. Bayanus.
The test procedure was, that we challenge the filter media with at least 10E7 yeast cfu and measure how many yeast cells have passed the filter.

An example :
Roki PEH-010
Yeast concentrate before the filter = 3,35 x 10E7 cfu/ml
Yeast concentration after the filter (filtrate) = 0 cfu/ml

The filter that we have tested are the Roki PEH, SLP, SBP and RNP.
