The Roki Capsule is probably one of
the most innovative products for
liquid filtration. The idea is to prevent
the operator from coming into contact
with the cartridge when changing the
filters. Originally the main
application was magnetic media
(audio & video tapes) that use strong
solvents in their formulation.
Roki developed this rigid type capsule
and installed a filter element in it. In
this way the operator would no
longer have any direct contact with
the liquid, and solvent evaporation
into the working environment would
be drastically reduced.
Other advantages are:
1. Reduction of liquid loss when
changing filters = less product
waste = greater efficiency.
2. Prevention of operator error
since the capsule can only be
installed in one way.
3. Fast = no need to clean the
inside of the housing.
Today Roki has a wide range of
capsule sizes, with or without Air-
Vent. Roki capsule systems have found
users in many different areas such as:
Magnetic Coatings, Paints, Inks,
Digital Media, Photographic Films,
Medical Imaging Products.
We can also provide housings that
are intended just to give mechanical
support to the Polypropylene Capsules
so that they can be used at working
pressures of up to 7 bar. |
